Covely takes a minimal approach to cookies and tracking. The short version: the Covely mobile app does not use cookies at all. This policy explains what that means in practice, and what limited cookie use exists if you visit our website.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or app. They are commonly used to remember preferences, keep you logged in, track behaviour across sessions, or serve targeted advertising.
2. The Covely App
The Covely iOS app does not use cookies. It does not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks. The app communicates directly with our infrastructure (Supabase) using secure API calls — no cookie-based tracking is involved at any point.
3. This Website (covely.app)
Our marketing website is a static HTML page. It does not set any first-party cookies. It does not load any third-party scripts from advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media trackers.
The only external resources loaded by the website are:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — used to load the typefaces displayed on the page. Google may log the font request, which includes your IP address. This is a standard CDN request and does not involve tracking cookies. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
No other external scripts, pixels, or tracking codes are present on covely.app.
4. What We Don't Do
To be explicit about our approach:
- We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent analytics platform
- We do not use Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking
- We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels
- We do not use heatmap or session recording tools such as Hotjar or FullStory
- We do not share any data with advertising networks
- We do not serve behavioural advertising of any kind
5. Your Cookie Choices
Because covely.app does not set cookies, there is nothing to opt out of or manage on our end.
If you wish to control cookies more broadly across your browsing, you can do so through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. Note that blocking cookies on other websites will not affect your use of the Covely app.

6. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce cookie use in the future — for example if we add analytics to understand how the marketing site is performing — we will update this policy before doing so and display an appropriate notice.
